Vista Mar Jaco Booking Info

To book a condo you must call call our reservations desk at Toll Free # 800-535-9252 and have a Visa or MasterCard ready. ( No AMEX or Discover) .

You may also make payment using Zelle.

If your check in date is more than 30 days away at the the time you make your reservation,  a deposit of 1st nights rent is required to book/reserve. Your remaining balance will be due in full no later than 30 days prior to your check in date.

If you are making a reservation/booking a condo, within 30 days of your check in date, FULL Payment is required at the time of booking.

NO. We do not offer online booking for Vista Mar Condos. You Must call 800-535-9252 to book/reserve any condo. 

If your cancel your reservation 30 days or more prior to your schedule/booked check in date, your deposit is refundable in full.

Cancellations for ANY reason made inside of 30 days from your scheduled arrival /check in date will forfeit your deposit and all payments you have made for the condo (s) as non-refundable/ non-transferable.

 

Yes. You can book private airport shuttle service with us for a ride from the airport to our location, and back to the airport on your check out day.

We have a fleet of new model, air conditioned, insured and licensed luxury vans and mini-buses available 24/7  ready to meet and greet you at the airport and bring you safely to our office for check in, as well as return you to the airport after check out on your last day.

You are ALWAYS better off booking your airport shuttle service through us to ensure a smooth, safe, reliable ride and experience! Please contact us for a shuttle service rate quote. 

 

Check in time is 3:00 p.m. & Check out time 11:00 a.m.

You may request to check in as early as 12:00 p.m. if the condo you are renting does not have another party checking out on the same morning. If there is another party checking out of your condo on the same day of your check in, then early check in is not possible and 3:00 p.m. is the earliest you will be able to enter the condo.

If another party is not scheduled to check into your condo on the day you check out, you can request a late check out up to 1:00 pm at no additional charge

Check outs after 1:00 pm will require a payment of 50% of the regular nightly rate.

For Check out after 5:00 pm, the full day rental rate will be charged.

Rates shown include taxes and light daily housekeeping.

Yes. The building has a 24/7 security disk and guarded entrance to control all those who enter and exit the building. There are also security guards throughout the property. As with anywhere you travel in the USA- Canada or outside of it, using common sense and practicing general safety, staying aware of your surroundings, and being respectful of the locals should ensure a pleasant visit without incident.

Jaco Beach & Costa Rica Travel Info

If you are traveling from the USA or Canada to Costa Rica you will need a valid US  or Canadian Passport that must not be set to expire within 90 days of the day you arrive in Costa Rica. No additional or special “Visa” is required.

Your passport must be in good, clean condition with no tears or separations on any of the pages, especially the photo page, and no excessive wear and tear.

We have seen people get turned around and sent home at the airport because they arrive in Costa Rica with a passport in poor. or tattered condition. Don’t let this happen to You! 

Juan Santamaria International Airport (SJO) is the closest airport to Jaco Beach. With the completion of the new highway CR 27, it’s now a quick and scenic 1 hour-20 minute drive from the airport to Jaco Beach
The easiest, safest, and most efficient way to get to us from the airport is to book our private airport transfer service. We have a fleet of new model, air conditioned, insured and licensed vans running 24/7 and ready to meet and greet you at the airport and bring you safely to our office for check in, as well as return you to the airport after check out on your last day.

No. It is not necessary at all to rent a car while you are here and we strongly recommend against it!  Everything is within close walking distance to our property or easily accessed by taxis which are very inexpensive and available 24/7.

For getting  from the airport to our location in Jaco,  and then back to the airport on our last day here, you are much better served booking private , quick, comfortable and stress free Airport Shuttle service through us.

The temperature is shown in Celsius so be sure to convert the numbers shown in Celsius to Fahrenheit to know what the forecasted temperature is. Weather in our region is always different than the forecast for San Jose so please do not base your travel decisions on the weather forecast for San Jose or any other region.

We suggest drinking bottled water, which is available at every restaurant, and grocery store. Please note that ice cubes used in all restaurants and bars here, comes from a local ice service that uses purified water to make ice, so there is no need to worry about ice cubes in cocktails or soft drinks. The water is fine to brush your teeth with and shower in we just suggest you don’t drink tap water.
US Dollars are accepted everywhere in Costa Rica. You will always get Costa Rican Colones as change however. (pronounced kuh-low-nes) You can check the current daily USD to CRC exchange rate by doing a Google Search for Costa Rica currency exchange. You do not need to, nor should you purchase Costa Rica currency in the US before you arrive. You’ll get a much lower exchange rate by doing so plus the fees charged by US banks.

Yes! Lattitudes Beach front restaurant is located just a few steps away in front of the on-site Cocal Hotel & Casino. You can enjoy Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner there and the food is Excellent and reasonably priced! 

The property is also walking distance to over 25 restaurants offering a wide variety of cuisines from delicious local Costa Rican food, to Italian, Sushi, Peruvian, Mexican, Seafood, Steak, Burgers, Wings, BBQ, Baked goods and a LOT more.
